📌 Job Responsibilities
As an IT Resident Engineer, you will support Station Directors of Enforcement Operations (SDEOs) in managing technical infrastructure and office administration. Key responsibilities include:
Technical Support
- Troubleshoot and manage desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
- Install and configure required software and update systems
- Monitor and resolve network issues
- Maintain inventory of hardware/software
- Liaise with vendors for IT maintenance and procurement
Administrative & Clerical Duties
- Manage duty rosters and ensure coverage at stations
- Draft and manage official correspondence and files
- Maintain financial records and track operational expenses
- Manage petty cash, procurement, vendor coordination
- Liaise with landlords, service providers, courier, and utility vendors
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare periodic IT and admin reports
- Ensure data security and system optimization
- Maintain service agreements, warranties, and contracts
🎓 Required Qualifications
- Education: 16 years of education (preferably in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or Administrative/Management/Social Sciences with computer proficiency)
- Experience:
- 2 years in a management/technical support role
- 1 year in a public sector organization preferred
- Entities must be registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or any other Regulatory Authority
