Prime Minister's Youth Skills Development Programme PMYSDP September 2017

Brief Description

Aimed at training unemployed youth of Pakistan for acquiring productive skills for gainful employment.

Eligibility Criteria

All young men/women aged up to 35 years with middle level education shall be eligible.

Madaaras students and students with disability are also encouraged to apply.

Geographical Spread

All over Pakistan.

Fees Support

On average fee support would be Rs.5,000 per month for six months

Stipend

Rs.2500 per month for six months. Rs. 3500 per month per student for FATA students.

On the Job Training

One month on the job training would be included in the 6-months program

Number of Trainees

25,000 annually

Training Program

Training in 195 demand-driven trades commonly in demand both at home and abroad.

Executing agency

NAVTTC/Ministry of Education and Trainings, in collaboration with Provincial TEVTAs and other Government/Private Sector Skills Training Institutes which will also design the program and final evaluation form
