Sports psychologist will be assisting players associated with the Pakistan Cricket Board in rehabilitation after injury, dealing with anxiety, improving athletic performance and achieving the pre-set performance goals, to enable sustainable success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consult with the player and the relevant medical staff and provide a “Return to Play” psychological support/intervention plan, for players with an injury that impacts the training status.
• Devise individualized Psychological Performance Plans and develop mental strategies that enable players to cope with and overcome setbacks or injuries.
• Identify mental strengths and weaknesses that contribute to or affect a player’s performance.
• Conduct research on a player’s mental, emotional, and physical attributes in order to effectively coach and improve performance levels.
• Provide education and support to touring management/staff re: self and player management.
• Document all formal consultations and performance related information in a timely manner.
• Provide players with psychological counseling related to their performance.
• Help players to manage on and off-field pressure and anxiety.
• Facilitate counseling and/or workshops that focus on goal setting, visualization, and relaxation.
• Counsel athletes who have endured sports injuries.
• Research and apply modern and improvised concepts to enhance physical potential.
• Remain cognizant of latest Psychological Health & Well being research findings and best practice protocols and ensure Sport Psychology Protocols and direction.

2. Head of Events

    

Head of Events will be responsible for organizing, mobilizing / coordinating the staff, event participants, officials, and administrators for the successful planning and execution of all events including International and National cricketing events.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and execute events from beginning to end.
• Draft all Policies, Standards and SOPs for the department.
• Manage budget development and setting of income targets for each event. Oversee day-to-day management of budgets.
• Monitor spending patterns and implementing measures to promote adherence to budgets.
• Oversee all aspects from conception to evaluation (suppliers/sponsors/logistics/support).
• On-site management of events including management of staff, briefings, and live trouble shooting.
• Ticketing, Accreditation, Hospitality and coordination with internal & external stake holders related to the event.
• Assist and facilitating organization and execution of non-cricketing events.
• Ensure all events data is held centrally on the CRM database.
• Post-event reconciliation through event debriefs held with all stakeholders and account reconciliation.
• Implement all standards within the Events framework as per policy and ensure all events comply with legal requirements, health and safety regulations.
