Positions Announced: 

1. Director General (Finance)

Qualification required for the following vacant position and job: 

  • Chartered Accountant/Cost & Management Accountant (ACA / FCA/CMA) Qualified OR
  • ACCA/FCCA, with articles completed from a reputed CA firm OR
  • MBA (Finance) (16 years of education), or Masters in Accounting and Finance (16 years of education) First Class

Experience required for the following vacant position and job: 

  • (In case of qualification of ACA / FCA / CMA): 12 years’ experience of working of managing and maintaining all aspects of Accounting and Finance System, at Senior Level Position in a multinational or national or large public sector organization.
  • (In case of qualification of ACCA / FCCA / MBA (Finance), or Masters in Accounting and Finance): 15 years’ experience of working of managing and maintaining all aspects of Accounting and Finance System, at Senior Level Positioning a multinational or national or large public sector organization.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Financial Planning & Management
  • Excellent Team Building, Analytical and Decision-Making skills
  • Excellent Communication, Leadership and Management Skills
  • Working experience of Telecom Sector will be an added advantage.

Role Purpose/Responsibilities:  

Director General (Finance), will be responsible for end to end management for all matters of Finance including;

  • Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance /receivable management / revenue assurance, budget & accounts / Financial statements and payroll & cash / supplier payable management directorates teams
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the Senior Management regarding financial matters
  • Plan, implement, manage and run all activities of finance division
  • Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
  • Advising on long-term financial planning
  • Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
  • To ensure that financial practices of recording revenues & expenses are in line with all the statutory legislation & regulations
  • Oversees the development of adequate policies, procedures and processes for the Finance function to maintain efficient operational excellence in order to achieve overall strategic objectives
  • To plan, develop & execute short & long-term goals, objectives
  • Any other task assigned.

Age Requirement55 Years (Maximum)

Gross Monthly Salary Rs 590,292/- including all Perks and Privilege

2. Director General (Law & Regulation)

Qualification required for the following vacant positions and jobs: 

Post Graduate Degree in Law / LLM / Bar-at-law with LLB (Minimum 2nd Division) and at least 15 years post qualification experience as an Advocate High Court / Supreme Court level or having experience in high level Legal Advisory Capacity with National / International organization of repute.

Preference will be given to candidate having;

  • Experience with Regulatory Body or an International / National Telecom organization;
  • Knowledge and experience of Telecom/regulatory Laws.

Experience required for the following vacant positions and jobs: 

  • Well versed with the functioning of lower courts, High Court & Supreme Court.
  • Proactive approach in resolving legal issues and matters; where legal input is required.
  • The ability to analyze and present information/ draft material from legal point of view in a clear and logical manner.
  • Good Communication and Inter- Personal Skills.
  • Ability to handle the assigned affairs independently and delegate responsibilities and tasks effectively.

Role Purpose/Responsibilities: 

  • Director General (Law & Regulation), will be responsible for end to end management for all matters of Law & Regulation Division including;
  • Advising the Organization on legislative and policy matters.
  • Supervising the functioning of Law and Regulations Division on day to-day basis.
  • Supervising and managing the external litigation, court cases, appointments of lawyers, maintenance of the database relating to litigation and follow up of cases etc.
  • Managing and scheduling of internal hearings on complaints / claims / appeals and dealing with Show Cause Notices under relevant provisions of the Act.
  • Drafting and vetting of determinations, enforcement orders, rules, regulations, licenses and agreements etc
